Coaching Highlights

At SFSU, became first head coach in school history to post a winning mark in her inaugural year, coached 13 All-CCAA award winners, 4 All-West Region selections, 20 NFCA scholar-athletes, 37 academic all-conference awards, 1 Academic All American, and 3 Arete Award winners (the highest honor presented to a student athlete for excellence in academics, athletics, and community service)

At SFSU, worked closely with a number of organizations such as:  Friends of Jaclyn, Swing For Life, Wounded Warrior Project, Special Olympics, & San Francisco RBI

Coached two tours overseas as the head coach of USA Athletes International.

Team competed in 9 games in the Netherlands in 2012

Team competed in 10 games in Prague, Czech Republic in 2013

NCAA West Region Committee Member from 2010 – 2015, serving as chair of the committee and a member of the DII National committee

At UCSD, named the CCAA Coaching Staff Of The Year

At USD, committed only 2 errors in the outfield, is 7th all time for single season stolen bases (18), received all-tournament team honors at Hawaii Classic and WISL Championship, named Offensive Player of the Year as a junior, and received Torero Award as a senior

Graduated from University of San Diego with a degree in biology and received her certification in orthopedic technology from Grossmont College

2016 SEASON - JUNIOR

Was a major contributor in her first playing season at San Diego State, playing in 26 of the team’s 52 games … Batted .185 (5-for-27) with two RBIs, four runs, a double, two walks and a hit by pitch, posting a .267 on-base percentage and a .222 slugging mark … Also logged the fourth-most innings in the circle, going 2-2 with a 4.38 ERA over 38 1/3 innings, striking out 11 … Pitched in 16 games with seven starts to her credit … Did not commit an error in 10 fielding fielding chances … In Mountain West play, batted .200 (3-for-15) with an RBI and a run in 15 games (four starts), while going 1-1 in the circle with a 6.00 ERA over 18 2/3 innings … Had one multi-run game, one game-winning RBI and one walk-off RBI … Was 2-for-7 (.286) with an RBI as a pinch-hitter … Best offensive game was a 2-for-3 showing with an RBI, double and two runs vs. Bethune-Cookman on Feb. 26 … Had a pinch-hit RBI single vs. Boise State on May 13 … Got her first win as an Aztec in the opener vs. Canisius (Feb. 12), tossing three scoreless innings with two strikeouts and two hits allowed … Picked up her other win at San Jose State on April 15, allowing three runs on two hits and a walk over two innings, while striking one.

2015 SEASON - REDSHIRT

Redshirted her first season on The Mesa after suffering a injury.

2014 SEASON (at UC RIVERSIDE) - SOPHOMORE

Started all 53 games she played at UC Riverside … Batted .295 (44-for-149) with seven home runs, 21 RBIs and 18 runs, while posting a .470 slugging percentage and a .346 on-base mark … Led the Highlanders in homers (7), four more than the next player on the team (3) … Also ranked second on the team in slugging percentage (.470) and total bases (70), and third in on-base percentage (.356), runs (tied, 18) and hits (44) … Also was a regular in the circle, going 4-3 with a 5.25 ERA and a save over 64 innings … Appeared in 21 games with four starts … Struck out 28 batters and picked up one complete game.

2013 SEASON (at UC RIVERSIDE) - SOPHOMORE

Started all 54 games she appeared in as a freshman … Hit .240 (37-for-154) with five home runs, 27 RBIs and 14 runs … Finished with a .364 slugging percentage and a ..279 on-base percentage … The five homers and 27 RBIs each ranked second on the team … In the circle, was 6-11 with a 5.12 ERA over 110 2/3 innings … Appeared in a team-high 33 games as a pitcher, including three starts … Struck out 36 … Completed one game.

Played her club ball for the California Cruisers.

HIGH SCHOOL - POWAY

Was a three-year letterwinner for coach Jim Benner at Poway High School … Helped Poway win the Palomar League championship and appear in several CIF Division playoffs over her high school career … Also lettered once in track and field.
